 Anti-Static Treatments
Anti-Static treatments to reduce those nasty shocks in life...
 Static can be painful when administered to the unsuspecting victim and can also
present a real danger to sensitive electronic equipment that could be damaged by sudden static
shocks.
The biggest single cause of static build-up is a dry atmosphere. This is
nowhere more apparent than in office locations during winter months when the atmosphere can be surprisingly dry
because most central heating systems are turned up full and windows are kept shut.
The dry atmosphere enhances the creation of friction between carpet fibres and moving objects such as
people’s shoes - with field currents from electrical equipment being
another contributing factor.
Our Anti-static treatment leaves a non-sticky coating on the surface of the carpet which conducts the electrical
charge away from the fibre surface. The product we use has been extensively tested and approved, is
non-toxic, non-flammable, odourless, and free of harmful vapors.
Whether at home or in the work place we can effectively treat areas prone to
static build up and alleviate those nasty or shocking surprises.
To maintain a static free environment, periodic treatment is highly
recommended.
