 The microscopic House Dust Mite, related to ticks and spiders, are too small
to be seen by the naked eye. They live on decaying dead skin - that we shed everyday.
In reality though, it's not the actual mite that we are allergic to it's their
faeces. Dust Mites only have a short life span of about six weeks but they can double their numbers in ten hours
and can produce 10 to 20 pieces of faeces per day. Microscopic mite faeces and corpse's are small enough to be
airborne, and get into your lungs.
British Allergy Foundation - 'Seal of Approval'
PROmite™ - the product for which Clean-Rite are a local authorised agent, is the
result of over two years research and testing by the British manufacturers 'ALLTEC' in conjunction with research
experts from the Medical Entomology Centre in Cambridge.
The chemicals ability to eliminate the House Dust Mite, the commonly known cause
of Asthma and allergies, has won the 'Seal of Approval' from the British Allergy Foundation (BAF). The 'Seal
of Approval' is only awarded after vigorous testing in laboratories and when a product can be shown to have a
positive benefit to allergy sufferers.
Relief within 24 Hours...
During trials, PROmite was found to give relief to asthma sufferers within 24 hours. Trained professionals apply
the treatment after thoroughly cleaning with professional equipment on areas around the home such as carpets,
upholstery, and mattresses. The main areas to concentrate on are the bedrooms - apart from spending up to one third
of our lives in the bedroom - most of the Mites live in the mattress.
