Q... How often should l have my carpets cleaned?
A... Most carpet manufacturer's recommend that carpets used in a domestic
environment should be professionally cleaned at least every 12 - 18 months.

Q... How often should l have my upholstery / suite
cleaned?
A... Again, most manufacturer's recommend that upholstered furnishings should be
professionally cleaned every 18 - 24 months.

Q... How long will it take to clean my carpets?
A... Depending on the degree of soiling an average size lounge carpet would normally take about
1 - 1½ hours.

Q... How long does it take to clean a 3 piece suite?
A... Furniture, cleaned properly, takes much longer to clean than carpets.
Depending on the style and fabric type, please allow up to 3½ hours to clean a 3 piece suite, .

Q... How long will it take for my carpet to dry?
A... Most carpets will be dry within 4 hours. Drying times can and will vary
depending on the type of carpet and degree of soiling. A warm, well ventilated room will speed up
drying times.

Q... Would a carpet cleaning machine from a hire shop do the
job?
A... Experience and comments from customer's who have tried the DIY route tells us
that small under-powered hire shop machines are just not up to the task. Carpets may remain wet for
extended periods and tend to re-soil very quickly due to high levels of detergent residue left
behind.

Q... Will stains on my carpet come out completely?
A... We always aim to remove stains completely. However, depending on the nature of
the stain/ type of carpet and ultimately what remedial action has been taken by the home/ business
owner, some stains may be of a permanent nature.

Q... Do l need to clear the room before the carpet is
cleaned?
A... No. If you can remove the small items of furniture we will move the main
furniture. We would also recommend that fragile items such as pottery or china be removed from the
room.

Q... Does your cleaning process remove dust mites, carpet odours
etc?
A... Yes. We have a variety of specialist treatments that will deal with most
carpet related problems.

Q... Can you apply stain protection to my carpet or
upholstery?
A... We can apply a stain protection treatment to both carpets and upholstery.
Please be aware that some carpets or fabrics will not benefit from this service due to their
inherent stain protection properties.

Q… Can you fix indentations from heavy furniture?
A… No guarantee can be made that the cleaning process will remove indentations
caused by furniture. In most cases the underlay has also been indented and in severe cases the only
satisfactory solution is to replace or patch the underlay.

Q... Are there any risks involved in having my carpets
cleaned.
A.. No. We have more than 20 years of carpet and upholstery cleaning experience and
know exactly which carpets or fabrics can be cleaned successfully. We will never take risks with
your soft furnishings.

Q... Will your cleaning process damage my paint work or
wallpaper?
A... No. We take great care when working within customers property and remain
ever vigilant as to potential situations where damage to decor or fittings could
result.

Q... Can you 'dry clean' carpets and suite's?
A... Yes we can. We have several dry cleaning systems that are well suited to
cleaning particular types of 'dry clean only' fibre's or fabrics. We do however recommend our hot
water extraction cleaning system in the majority of cases where dry cleaning is not specifically
required.

Q... Will my carpets re-soil quickly after they have been
cleaned?
A... No. Gone are the days when professional carpet cleaners used traditional
Shampoo's, which left a sticky - dirt attracting residue causing carpets to re-soil rapidly. We use
only the highest quality cleaning solutions that will soften and condition your carpets leaving
them residue free.

Q... My carpet/ suite is badly faded, will cleaning fix
this.
A... Unfortunately no. The cleaning process will remove any soiling and enhance the
colour of the carpet or suite but the fading will probably still be apparent.

A... We accept business/ personal cheques or cash - payable on completion.
